“This is a criminal organization, a follower army that aimed to kill and is an enemy of society,” he said characteristically and predicted “pressures to keep their mouths shut.”

They are invited to give their answer to the heavy indictment that has been drawn up against them on Saturday and Sunday, when the defendants in the case of a criminal organization of fans, members of which are involved in the fatal attack that received the police officer Giorgos Doulgeridis.
The 67 defendants already received deadlines for their apologies for the weekend as of yesterday afternoon, with the majority of them declaring, through their lawyers, that it has nothing to do with what is attributed to them.
The apology process is expected to start on Saturday morning, when they will go to the courts to appear before the five Investigators appointed for the case, the first groups of accused, while the apologies will continue on Sunday.
It is recalled that the prosecution brought for the case, in which a total of 160 persons are involved, includes 12 serious felonies and many misdemeanors.
According to the prosecution, five defendants are charged with directing a criminal organization, as they are attributed a leading, central role in the operation of the organization which, according to the case file, had a specific action against the background of their team’s sports activity.
The violent death of the policeman occupies a leading position in the case file, a criminal act which, according to the authorities, is the result of an organized decision to attack policemen, which was taken by the hierarchy of the organization and carried out by its members.
Depending on the degree of involvement of each defendant, the prosecution includes, among other things, felony offenses for
*Establishment and membership in a criminal organization.
*Manslaughter during a sporting event.
*Ethical complicity in homicide during a sporting event.
*Aiding and abetting homicide during a sporting event
*Explosion that resulted in the death of another during a sporting event.
*Ethical complicity in the explosion that resulted in the death of another during a sporting event
*Participating in the explosion that resulted in the death of another during a sporting event.
*Manufacturing and possessing explosive devices for the purpose of illegally supplying organizations with the occasion of a sporting event.
*Ethical authorship in the manufacture of explosive and incendiary materials that may cause danger to a person on the occasion of a sporting event
*Blackmail by threatening to damage another’s business by complicity during a sporting event.
*Robbery by accomplice and serial with a sports background.
Among those arrested who are being asked to apologize for serious offenses is the 16-year-old brother of the 18-year-old prisoner who confessed to throwing the naval flare that cut the life of the policeman outside the closed Rentis stadium last December.
In total there are fifteen minors in the case.
Seven defendants, of which three are in the group of 67, are involved in drug trafficking without being attributed to the criminal organization.

The police mapped the route of the weapons and munitions to Rentis’ closed gym. At 18:30 in the afternoon of 7her December about 35-40 people with 15 motorcycles and 4 cars went to the Karaiskaki stadium taking the weapons. Such was the importance of the “daily wages” in the ranks of the criminal organization, that it was a cause of controversy at the last annual meeting of the members of Thira.
THEY CAUSED AN INTERRUPTION OF THE MATCH
Leading members of the criminal organization entered the pitch during football league matches as Olympiakos SLOs, i.e. PAE’s “connecting links” with the fans. LABOR RELATIONS
In the court documents, it is said that it is pointed out by the officers of the Sub-Directorate for Combating Violence in Sports Venues that a possible connection of the criminal organization with officers of PAE Olympiacos cannot be ruled out. However, from the authorities’ investigation so far, it does not seem that such accusations have been substantiated so far. It is worth noting the fact that some of the leading members of the criminal organization are associated with a working relationship, both with the football team and with the Municipality of Piraeus, without always being “present” at their work. Indicatively, the leader of the organized fans’ Gate, as it appears from the data of the ERGANI information system, has been working since 2018 at the PAE Olympiacos boutique, while previously he had also worked for two months in the Municipality of Piraeus. Accordingly, the manager trapper worked in the Municipality of Piraeus during the period from 20/04/2023 to 19/06/2023.
