The “Easter Basket” comes into effect today and will last until Holy Saturday, May 4, with the aim of keeping prices down.
As mentioned by the Minister of Development, Kostas Skrekas, consumers will see the prices of amnoerifis the same and lower compared to last year’s corresponding period.
“This”, emphasized the minister, “will largely contain inflation, it will enable vulnerable households, and not only, of course, to be able to purchase the basics for the Easter table at much lower prices.”

It is reminded that it is in force until May 4 the “Basket of the Godfathers”, but also the “Basket of Lent”.
They are included in the “Basket of Godfathers”. 12 product categories and consumers who are godparents or parents of small children are given the opportunity to make cheaper purchases during the Easter period.
