The final list is announced today Wednesday (24/4) by the Supreme Court, from 46 parties who declared participation for the June 9 European elections.
Among other criteria for the participation of political parties in the summer election, as a necessary condition is the payment of a fee of 20,000 euroswhich reportedly all parties failed to pay.
This fact automatically and without appeal puts these parties, which are mostly characterized as small political formations and one-person parties, out of the electoral contest.
In particular, the 46 parties that have applied to participate in the European elections, according to the order of filing, are:

What will happen to the Spartans?
Areios Pagos is expected today to give or not a “green light” for the participation of the Spartans in the European elections.
It is noted that PaSoK submitted a memorandum to the Areopagus last Friday requesting that the Spartans be excluded from the upcoming European elections. In it, among other things, the participation of Ilias Kasidiaris in the party is emphasized.
“The real leadership of the party is exercised by Ilias Kasidiaris, who has been sentenced to a prison term for joining and directing a criminal organization,” is characteristically mentioned in the memorandum filed.
In another point of the memorandum it is pointed out that due to the participation of Ilias Kasidiaris, the combination “does not meet the conditions of forming a combination of paragraph 1 of article 32 p.d 26/2012”.
At the same time, The “key” to developments for the parliamentary future of the “Spartans” is held by the members of the Supreme Special Court (Electoral Court), before which the relevant appeals were discussed and the time is already counting down for the issuance of the decision by the which directly depends on what happens next with the particular party. In other words, it depends on the decision of the supreme judges whether the “Spartans” will be out of Parliament in the near future.
As is known, the order of the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court for the criminal prosecution of all the MPs who were elected with this party, except for its president Vassilis Stiga, for fraud of the electorate, has been preceded. The decision of the A1 Political Department of the Supreme Court on April 24 on the declaration of the parties is also awaited with interest, as it will show whether or not the “Spartans” manage to pass the “radar” of the Supreme Court for participation in the European elections. .
