It comes into force from today, Wednesday (24/4). Easter basket, which is called upon to provide a solution to the increased prices of Easter products. The measure will last until May 4, 2024.
As announced by the Ministry of Development, the “Easter Basket” is an extension of the “Household Basket”, as four new food categories are added, in order to be an additional outlet for consumers.
The Minister of Development Kostas Skrekas stated: “We support households in practice so that every family table is filled with the necessary goods at the lowest possible prices. Initiatives such as the “Easter Basket” also increase competition between food businesses for the benefit of consumers. With the “Godparents’ Basket” we essentially help godparents and parents to buy quality toys at affordable prices to make all the children happy this holiday season.
