The time is counting down for the apologies of the 67 arrested for the murderous attack on the police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis and for a series of other criminal acts.

Specifically, over the weekend the defendants will begin to apologize for the serious charges brought against them by the Athens District Attorney’s Office. They have now taken over the voluminous case file five investigators, one male and four female judicial officers. According to information, it is a case file, which concerns more than 160 people, of which 15 are minors, while it includes information about the actions of those arrested, as well as revealing transcribed conversations.

At the same time, according to information, an anonymous phone call to the police 73 days after the murder of Giorgos Lyggeridis, was what “unlocked” the case. It seems that after the phone call, the authorities had at their disposal a valuable stick of video of the episodes in Rentis which helped solve the case.

Apocalyptic dialogues

The dialogues that came to light, between the members of the criminal organization of the fans of a major Super League team just a few minutes after the injury of the police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis, in Rentis outside the closed “Melina Merkouris”, are revealing.

The core of the hooligans who caused the bloody incidents are now in the hands of the Police and the 6,000-page file shows that they had a specific structure and were acting on orders from the hierarchy. The Security report on the murder of the 31-year-old policeman is causing a sensation, which outlines, with an evaluative judgment, the extent of a criminal organization which “touches”, according to the report, executives of PAE Olympiacos. Among other things, it describes “indirect funding” of hooligans with invitations and tickets, illegal credentials to invade the playing fields and more.

According to ERT, organized, disciplined and determined to kill, they were allegedly those arrested for the events of December 7 that caused the death of police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis.

The dialogue between the remand for throwing the deadly flare and his brother, who has also been arrested, reveals their cynicism. The younger brother reassures him of the consequences and the conditions he will face in the Detention Center:

Siblings Phone Chat:

Brother: Yes, m@@@@.

Perpetrator: All of Avlona must be waiting for me in there.

Brother: (Hahaha) C@@@@ ta

Perpetrator: Okay, they won’t take me either… and they didn’t wait for me, they know what I’ve done, that’s why they wouldn’t take me…

Brother: Yes, after the gypsy in Zephyri tells me that he only tells me that you have done this…

Perpetrator: Tell me.

Brother: Just because you have done this, he says, everyone will think highly of you.

Of the approximately 20 main organizers eight were the hard core of the leadership, five of them the moral perpetrators of the attack on the fateful night of December 7th.

Captain and manager brought the people out of the field, the “little ones” as they were called, armed them and gave the order, with the Captain throwing the first flare. The officers heard the furious but driven mob, which had a military cover of motorcycles and motorcades, shouting:

“We’re at war guys, we’re going to kill you all. Nea Smyrna needs you again. they will find you all cold”

They even knew about the cameras

According to ERT, as emerged from the investigation, the reason for the attack was the anniversary of Grigoropoulos and the previous incidents in Volos. They sent the perpetrators to get gas cans from a nearby gas station and brought dynamite to make improvised bombs on the spot which they set off at the police along with the flares. In fact, from a transcribed conversation of the brothers, one of whom is accused of the fatal shot, their concern about the Police discovering their preparatory actions with the manager informing them of where the Police had collected footage from cameras also emerges.

In their communications with each other, the hooligans admit their intentions even to kill, and in fact, with posts on social media, they also showed their satisfaction with the result.

Telephone conversation of those involved:

Friend: And a straight shot huh? Bam.

Hooligan: Yes

Friend: And whoever the favor takes

Hooligan: 10 people went there and emptied everything. Here you m@@@ had 40 dynamite. It wasn’t just nautical, there were many things that day. Do you know what it’s like to eat 40 dynamite now?

Friend: Did they go for death? They went to kill

Hooligan: Yes, they went to c@@@@ the MATs and there were few MATs.

The portrait of the leader of the criminal organization

The portrait of the person named as the leader of the criminal organization and senior officer of Thira 7 outlines the communication of EL.AS. to the Athens First Instance Prosecutor’s Office.

According to this I.A., “is the leader of gate 7 and the undisputed leader of the Criminal Organization. He attends most of the games of the Olympiakos team, in all sports and is usually on the pitch, wearing accreditation.”

The EL.AS investigation shows that “the majority of Olympiacos fans recognize him as the leader of the organized Olympiacos fans and obey his orders, as it appears from the collected preliminary investigation material, he sometimes appears as an instigator – moral author, giving the order for the initiation of the episodes and sometimes as a natural perpetrator participating himself in the criminal acts, which he organizes and plans himself”.

Also, as it is pointed out “when the organization’s leadership is threatened by rival Olympiacos fans, he does not hesitate to attack them with particular ferocity”, while “he exudes special respect for the other members of the criminal organization and only those who belong to the ” adults”.

It is impressive what is mentioned in the transmission of EL.AS about the relations of the named as “leader of the criminal organization” with “administrative staff of the Olympiakos teams” with whom he “maintains direct communication”.

It is typical that “in the 2019-2020 and 2022-2023 competition seasons it was proposed by the P.A.E. Olympiacos and received the status of SLO”.

The person in question also allegedly “makes significant financial gains, mainly from ticket sales, as he sells invitations, which he receives for free, while the more important the match, the bigger the ‘hat’ he puts on the price of tickets.” Also I.A. he also leads the association of Olympiakos fans that is active in the area of Ilioupoli. In fact, at an event of the association of Ilioupoli for the cutting of the New Year’s pie, he welcomed and then accompanied two Olympiacos players.

The police officers estimate that this particular person “is particularly dangerous, as he brings to some Olympic games weapons, which he does not hesitate to use just for fun. Also, during matches, he can beat people belonging to Gate 7 when they do something he doesn’t approve of.”

According to EL.AS, in 2017 he worked for two months at the Municipality of Piraeus as well as at the Olympiakos boutique.
