The Municipal Council of the Municipality of Megareo is holding an emergency meeting today

A press release of the Municipality of Megareo states: “The Municipal Council of the Municipality of Megareo is called to an urgent meeting via email on April 23, 2024, Tuesday from 19:00 to 22:00 to discuss and decide on the following subject, according to article 67 par. 5 of Law 3852/2010 as replaced by article 74 of Law 4555/2018:

• Regarding the approval or not of the additional remuneration of the attorney of our Municipality, Mr. Eleftheriou Lagos, appointed with the no. 93/2024, 94/2024 and 95/2024 decisions of the Municipal Committee

The matter is considered urgent because the lawyer Mr. Eleftherios Lagos was appointed attorney-at-law of our Municipality with the no. 93/2024, 94/2024 and 95/2024 decisions of the Municipal Committee, in order to represent former elected officials and employees of the Municipality of Megara on 24/04/2024 and 25/04/2024 respectively and his additional remuneration must be approved by the Municipal Council before its necessary actions.
