The 23-year-old who was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in Ilion on Sunday night (21.4.24) describes the nightmarish moments she experienced.
The 23-year-old was saved by luck as a car hit her and left her in Ilion.
“She’s very upset. He passed her by a fraction of a second, he would have killed her, literally mashed her. This ignorant man did not stop for a single moment or brake,” he stated in Live News friend of the 23-year-old.
It all happened at 23:20 on Sunday night in Ilion when the 23-year-old girl tried to cross the Thivon Avenue crossing. In the middle of her route, the traffic light turned green for cars and a black jeep crashed into the 23-year-old, continuing on its way as if nothing had happened.
“He didn’t understand how it happened. Suddenly he tells me: “I was walking and I felt that someone touched me quickly and the world turned around me and I fell down and then I woke up and the ambulance came”. He has stepped on her feet and hit her with the mirror, elbowed her and her hand is swollen,” said the friend of the 23-year-old.
And he commented: “The woman fell down like a playing card that can be seen in the video and this man continued his course normally, at least 800 meters, I don’t know how many meters it was, he didn’t stop, completely ignorant.”
Unfortunately for the unconscious driver, a delivery driver followed him along with other citizens, stopped him and was finally arrested by the police.

“Right now I’m in a lot of pain, but I’m trying to get through it as much as I can,” said 23 years old on Live News.
“On Sunday night, I was crossing the crosswalk, the moment the ‘little man’ was green, then it turned red, and one goes by and hits me, causing me to fall down and completely lose consciousness,” said girl.
“From the moment the incident happened, he left me, he didn’t stop at all, he didn’t even open it and I really live by a miracle”, he emphasized.
