of Theodosis Panos

According to the evidence in the case file, this man together with the infamous “Konto” who was arrested in Ioannina ready to flee the country seem to have had absolute control and together moved the threads in the hard core of the hooligan “industry” of violence.

According to the evidence in the case file, “Romanos” and “Kontos”, in addition to the occasional jobs they had in various positions, systematically protected the owners of the canteens that were set up outside the stadium during the games. The case file includes statements from such owners who speak of extortion, beatings and collection of sums of money in order to allow the defendants to set up their canteens outside the stadium.

As for “Romano”, the days before the dismantling of the criminal organization of fan violence were discreetly monitored by police officers, but when the time came for the arrests, he disappeared.

Finally, a total of three people who gave information to the police that helped in one way or another in the investigations have been placed under witness protection status.

Conversations of those involved come to light

In their communications with each other, the hooligans admit their intentions even to kill, and in fact, with posts on social media, they also showed their satisfaction with the result.

Telephone conversation of those involved:

Friend: And a straight shot huh? Bam.

Hooligan: Yes

Friend: And whoever the favor takes

Hooligan: 10 people went there and emptied everything. Here you m@@@ had 40 dynamite. It wasn’t just nautical, there were many things that day. Do you know what it’s like to eat 40 dynamite now?

Friend: Did they go for death? They went to kill

Hooligan: Yes, they went to c@@@@ the MATs and there were few MATs.
