Great relief for people with disabilities who wait up to four months to go through a committee of HAPPY in order to certify their disability, the recruitment of 700 new doctors, which is already underway, will offer.
As the e-EFKA deputy director revealed on the show “TA LEME” on VERNINA TELEVISION and to journalist Christina Tsorba Panagiotis Kokkoris, the platform for interested doctors opens on May 1 and will remain open till May 26 to apply online.
Recruitment for the first time since 2013
Mr. Kokkoris noted that recruitment had to be done since 2013 for this reason and there was a long waiting time that even reached 4 months for home visits by doctors as “500 doctors could not respond to the number of cases”.
Now, with the recruitment of 700 doctors “the number of doctors will more than double and reach 1200” which will “relieve a large number of disabled”. He pointed out that the fees of the doctors participating in the committees will also increase by 50%, while “the specialties will also increase as child psychologists, pediatricians and developmentalists are added for more specialization” “We give special importance to those who need a home visit so that to respond to the real needs”, emphasized Mr. Kokkoris.
