The Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Chania announced that today, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, due to the fire that occurred in the area of Naustatmos early in the morning, there will be a water cut in the areas of Megala Chorafia, Aptera and Kalami.
The outage is due to damage caused to PPC poles resulting in the interruption of the operation of the pumping station in the area. With the repair of the damage, the water supply will gradually be restored.
It is noted that the interruption is likely to be limited in time, in case the works are completed earlier, so throughout this period the water supply networks will be considered under pressure.
At the same time, DEVACH announced that tomorrow, Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 09:00 to 15:00 there will be a water cut in the city center, specifically in the building blocks surrounded by Margouniou, Kydonias, Zimvrakakidon and Konstantinoupoleos streets.
