Suicide of a 34-year-old man in the White Tower: What emerges from the security cameras

Wait for people to leave before doing a death dive

Tragedy occurred at noon on Monday in Thessalonikiwith one man to “dive” to his death from the White Tower.

The man, originally from Crete, fell into the void from the White Tower in Thessaloniki under unspecified circumstances and was killed. The incident happened just before 2pm on Monday.

A mobile ambulance unit and an ambulance were found at the scene.

Despite rescuers’ efforts to revive him, the man ended up.

It was determined that the fall was not a criminal act or an accident, since the man ended his life.

According to information, the 34-year-old entered normally through the entrance, after buying a ticket, and then climbed onto the roof. There, under unclear circumstances, he was found in the void, on the lawn.

In fact, during the fall his body hit the branches of the trees and then ended up on the ground.

The authorities who examined the footage from the cameras, saw that the 34-year-old man, after entering the White Tower alone, wandered around for some time, waited for people to leave the balcony of the White Tower, took a chance and jumped into the void.
