The entire plan of action of the criminal organization whose members attacked the police on the night of December 7th resulting in the fatal wounding of the police officer Dimitris Lyggeridis outside the Melina Mercouris stadium in Rentis, is revealed in the memorandum prepared by the Security.
Decisive pieces in the unraveling of this dark story were three people who entered the witness protection program, the removal of telephone privacy, the scanning of mobile phone antennas and the videos from various places, both inside and outside the closed stadium Melina Merkouris in Rentis that the volley match took place.
As the transmission states, 310 people came and testified, some of whom proceeded with additional statements and were present at the stadium, while three of them were placed under the status of Witness Protection.
The transmission also mentions that in a video the horseshoe in which the organized fans of Olympiakos were, just before they left the stadium and then their movement, where following the orders of 2 people, they come out in order to attack the Police.
In another part of the transmission, it is stated that the leading members of the Criminal Organization ordered a minor and two other people to go to a gas station in order to get gas and in addition one more to go to his house to bring dynamite.
After being provided with at least 10 plastic bottles of 0.5 liters of gasoline, …… took out from the I.X.E. car that he used on the day in question, about 10 dynamite, which he gave to the members of the Criminal Organization ………….., in order to manufacture Improvised Explosive Devices.
In addition, Improvised Explosive Devices were constructed upon arrival at the Melina Merkouri stadium by ……… and …… Additionally, the members of the Criminal Organization ………. and ………. they were in possession of two 2 naval flares.
For the transport of the objects to Melina Merkouri, according to the consignment note, they used 4 cars, which were accompanied by approximately 15 machines.
As soon as the items were loaded into the cars, ………., ordered them to leave quickly for Rentis, with the intention of “let’s meet the cops”as he characteristically stated. As shown in the transcribed conversation of the brothers ……….., there is great concern on their part, lest the preliminary investigation detect their preparatory actions, with ……., providing them with information about points that the Service has requested and received video material from us.
The very well organized plan of the Members of the Criminal Organization was for the attacks to take place after the end of the match “OLYMPIAKOS-PANATHINAIKOS”, outside the above stadium. With the arrival on the court of …….., the leading member of the Criminal Organization, the plan changed and finally the attack took place shortly after the end of the 1st set. In fact, in the video footage, ………. is shown to be on the pitch of the stadium talking to ………. The latter is then seen typing for several seconds on his cell phone and immediately exits through the side door. Shortly after, the attacks take place. At this point it is stated that the perpetrators, having excellent knowledge of the identification techniques from the Police Authorities, pre-decided that the attacks would take place at the stadium in question, because it lacks security cameras.
Finally, ………….., who as mentioned remained outside the K.G. Melina Merkouri, in order to build improvised explosive devices, entered shortly before the end of the first set, in the stadium where the organized fans of Olympiakos were and gave the order to get out. Characteristic signs with his hands, in order for the fans of Olympiakos to leave, was also made by ………
Immediately, the first group of members of the criminal organization came out, with the intention of attacking the Police. While the perpetrators were waiting for an order to start the attack, other members of the Criminal Organization gradually left the field. The attackers also participated in the attacks, who do not appear in the video material to be in the stadium as they were waiting for the other attackers to come out to carry out their attack together.
On their way out of the stadium, they were awaited by the leading members of the criminal organization ………..and …………, who distributed naval flares and Improvised Explosive Devices to the members of the Criminal Organization, who had exited the Indoor Gym and were waiting clearly the order to move against the Greek Police platoon. Some of them had their own smoke generators, flare pens and naval flares. Finally, this order was given by the two (2) leading members of the criminal organization, who were marching ahead of the rest in the direction of the platoon. According to the order of …….., as soon as he would throw the first molotov, then the others would start throwing the objects they were equipped with against the Police. Indeed, the plan, which resulted in the death of 1 Policeman and the injury of another, was carried out to the letter. After the manifestation of severe and with homicidal intent attacks, the Police managed to repel the perpetrators, the majority of whom re-entered the K.G. MELINA MERKOURI. The brutality of the attack aimed at the homicide of a Policeman, is also shown in the Simple Autopsy Report of the Fire Service dated 07/12/20223, according to which from the throwing of flares/fireworks and in relation to the large presence of people due to the street fights carried out in the specific area could pose a risk to humans.
After all, the same fans of the Olympiakos team, in communication with each other, admit that based on the weapons they had at their disposal, the perpetrators, their purpose was to kill a police officer. In fact, after “achieving their goal” they posted on the Instagram application, a photo that shows their satisfaction with the happy result for them.
The dialogue that shocks
A dialogue that is included in the voluminous file from the secret operation of EL.AS under the code name “Damokleios Spathes” for the teething of the fan criminal organization that was operating underground among the organized fans, proves that on the night of December 7 they wanted a dead policeman. As characteristically mentioned in the case file at the disposal of newsit.gr, the conversation of one of the members with his friend reveals the naked truth about the plan that sent the policeman Georgios Lyggeridis to his death.
Also typical is the phone call he made a few days after the death of the Policeman, one of the defendants who is talking to his friend where, among other things, they mention:
Friend: “And a straight shot huh?” Bam.”
Accused: “Yes”.
Friend: “And whoever takes the favor”
Accused: “Ten people went there and emptied everything. Here you morons had forty AK dynamite. It wasn’t just nautical, there were many things that day. Do you know what it’s like to eat forty dynamite now?’
Friend: “Did they go for death?” They went to kill.”
Accused: “Yes, they went to checkmate and there were few checkmates.”
They burned the clothes
As mentioned in the transmission “All the perpetrators, proving once again that they have excellent knowledge of the methods used by the Greek Police to identify perpetrators, burned part of their clothing in the toilets of the stadium, while some of them, outside the stadium, threw part of of their clothing or changed their clothes with other perpetrators of Olympiakos fans, in order to make the work of the Police Authorities as difficult as possible and to make their possible identification with found video material impossible”.
In a subsequent time of the attack, in a telephone communication of the G.D. with his brother G.N., they refer to the time when Deputy Warden Lyggeridis was on the ground injured by the naval type flare and an improvised explosive device that exploded near the Deputy Warden also wounded him in the right leg, and in particular they state the following:
G.N: Didn’t Orpheus wear a white sweatshirt?
GD: Yes.
GN: Okay.
DG: Why?
GN: Nothing for everything to take its place.
DG: From you?
GN: Huh?
GD: Will they take their place from you?
GN: Oooooh.
DG: Then?
GN: From the police, Mitso?
DG: Yeah what?
GN: Ts… There are cameras and such, you understand?
DG: And what about you?
GN: Nothing dude because oooo the Policeman, he got hit after he got hit by the flare, he got hit
DG: Yes
GN: from Molotov, which also created a serious problem for him.
DG: Yes.
GN: You understood and they are also looking for the one who threw the molotov.
DG: Mmm.
GN: That’s it.
DG: And what have they found about him?
GN: So far nothing. Yesterday the lawyer told me that they have made some arrests, I don’t know what to tell you now.”
Also, K.A. he came out of the “Melina Mercouri” stadium, together with the rest of the group of perpetrators and jointly carried out attacks against the YAT policemen. After the attacks ended, he made sure to discard the collar he was wearing, which covered part of the his facial features. The specific collar was found in the area outside the canteen of the stadium and was confiscated by our Service, where, as mentioned, a large part of the perpetrators were directed when they entered the stadium after the attacks. This is the persuasive π82 1 corded collar, black in color and during its laboratory examination, yielded corresponding STR genetic types indicating the presence of genetic elements of more than one individual (mixes). The said mixtures contain the genetic type of K.A.
The dialogue is typical:
K.X: What happened to you idiot, did you see me in your sleep?
P.B. No, Andreas took me.
K.X.: What happened?
P.B.: And I say sit down and take him. Two police officers left his house.”
PV: I thought differently about Andreas.
K.H.: What?
PB: Do you know where my mind went?
K.H.: No.

With the name “Andreas”, they refer to K.A. as they have mentioned in their statements they went to the stadium together. From the above and in combination with a number of statements which state that the perpetrators of the attacks discarded their clothing, with the obvious purpose of making it difficult for the authorities to identify them, the participation of K.A. in the group of perpetrators emerges.
