The 67 arrested for the murder of the policeman Giorgos Lyggeridis were brought to the courts of the Evelpidon School, including the parents of some of the defendants, who declare the innocence of their children.
Among the the 18-year-old’s brother is also present who is being held as the suspect in throwing the naval flare that led to the policeman’s death.
In addition, he is also present manager of a famous rapper. A mother describes the events after the policeman’s death and the police investigations at their home.
“The police came to the house and searched it. My son was not at home at the time and went and surrendered himself.
On the night he was killed the policeman was at the stadium and had been brought in like other people, but he had been releasedsays the his mother arrested and continues adding:
“Once again the police had come to the house and searched him. And then they hadn’t found him. He had gone to GADA alone again and had given a statement then as well. My son has told me he is innocent. The police didn’t get anything from the searches they did at our house yesterday.”
THE mother of a 25-year-old arrested now she maintains that her son is innocent, while she feels wronged by the outcome of the case.
“My son had just gone to watch the volleyball match that day and found himself accused without doing anything at all» says the mother of the 25-year-old and continuing to add:
“He suddenly found himself in GADA without having done anything. The police came to the house yesterday morning. I feel wronged because the child has done nothing and has been found guilty.
