The 60 arrested for the case of the murderous attack against the MAT police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis and other criminal acts passed the threshold of the courts of the former Evelpidon school.
In particular, shortly before 09:00, the transfer to the prosecutor of the more than 60 arrested for the murder of George Lyggeridis began. The men, who were detained until the morning of Tuesday 23/4 in GADA, were put under draconian security measures in a police cage and bus and taken to Evelpidon in order to apologize for the heavy charges they face.
During their transportation, several of the arrested made obscene gestures and cursed the journalists.
The arrested arrived at the Prosecutor’s Office with four buses and draconian security measures.
Videos, photographs and witness statements played a decisive role in the identification of those arrested, while the munitions found outside the stadium also “spoke”.
It is worth noting that among those arrested are also “heavy” names. One of them, “Yosef”, allegedly had a large amount of cash on him and was planning to escape abroad. In the voluminous case file, his role is described in detail, just like every defendant in the criminal organization.
It is expected that the public prosecutor, after studying the file filed by the police authorities, will decide whether to proceed with criminal charges against them and for what crimes.
