Lyggeridis murder: The 67 arrested for fan violence are at the Prosecutor’s Office

Under draconian police measures, the 64 arrested persons related to the Attica General Police Directorate are being transferred murder case of the police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis. Those involved in several incidents of fan violence are expected to appear before the Prosecutor, in the courts of Evelpidon, in order to apologize for the heavy charges they face.

In particular, charges are also expected to be filed for moral authorship in the fatal wounding of the 31-year-old police officer with police sources stating that 5 people are the ones who gave the order for the attack on MAT men that resulted in the fatal wounding of Giorgos Lyggeridis.

The police officers dealing with violence in the sports arenas have succeeded in the secret investigation for four months to “bind” the charge of the criminal organization, through important findings mainly from the scene of the murder of the MAT police officer.

Videos, photographs and witness statements played a decisive role in the solution of the puzzle, while in the forensic laboratories various weapons of war that had been located outside the Melina Mercouri stadium and had been transferred to the forensic laboratories, as well as from the toilets of the stadium where they had “spoken” set fire to clothes in order to eliminate their traces.
