The 60 people who were arrested yesterday Monday (22/4) by officers of the Sub-Directorate for Combating Violence in Sports Venues for the murder of the policeman are to be brought before the investigator and the prosecutor today Giorgos Lyggeridis outside the “Melina Merkouri” stadium in Rentis as well as for other fights in sports venues.
According to reports, five of those arrested are accused of moral turpitude in the murder of the 31-year-old police officer, for coordinating the attacks on Rentis and for participating in a criminal organization.
The file that has been created for the case is voluminous in this case as well a total of 158 people are includedwith the core leadership consisting of about 20 of them.
They played a catalytic role in the identification of the accused the videos, photos and testimonials that had been collected after the murder of the policeman, while various munitions that had been identified outside the “Melina Merkouri” stadium, as well as some burnt clothes that had been found in the toilets of the stadium, also “spoke” in the forensic laboratories.
THE investigation by the authorities it concerns both the case of the death of the young policeman outside the stadium in Rentis and other incidents of fan incidents.
