As forecasters warn, today it peaks the dust transport that has been underway since Monday and with it is expected significant rise in temperature. The winds will blow east-southeast, which will arrive 8 Beaufort, with gusts even at 9 Beaufort in the Aegean.
At the headquarters there will be mud showers, dust in the central and northern areas, cloudy skies, but also 30 degrees Celsius in northern Crete while in Florina the thermometer will not exceed 12 degrees.

As mentioned in his post by the director of EMY Thodoris Kolidas the large temperature difference between North-West Greece and Southern Island regions is not something unheard of and the 30 days expected in Crete will not be many, while “an important role will be played again by the locally strengthened downwinds of the Foen type.
On Wednesday, the westerly wind will begin to push the dust towards the Dodecanese more progressively further east, ensuring for Thursday and Friday a cleaner atmosphere.

Winds in the west, central and north will blow from west directions 4 to 6 Beaufort.
