Philips Evnia 27M2N5500 comes with 180Hz refresh rate and affordable price

Philips is preparing to offer even higher refresh rates and lower prices in the new models of the Evnia 3000 and Evnia 5000 series.

The company’s new solutions for gamers were presented over the weekend at a special event in Valencia, where we had the opportunity to attend and see all the new models up close.

One of them is the Philips Evnia 27M2N5500, which is expected to be launched in the coming weeks with a price of €269. The new screen has a 27-inch diagonal, Fast IPS panel, QHD resolution (2,560 by 1,440 pixels), 180Hz refresh rate, 1ms GtG response time (0.5ms MPRT) and standard brightness of 350 cd/m2.

The Philips Evnia 27M2N5500 has a 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC) and can render 1.07 billion colors, while it is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified. It also has all the necessary ergonomic options, since you can adjust its height, tilt it or rotate it on both the horizontal and vertical axes. In terms of connectivity, we have two HDMI 2.0 inputs and a DisplayPort 1.4 input.
