Municipality of Gortyna: No water today, Monday in Asimi due to a fault in the network

Households have little or no water in their taps today, Monday, April 22, 2024, in Asimi of the Municipality of Gortyna, due to damage to the settlement’s water supply network.

Specifically, as announced by the President of T.K. Asimiou, Simos Kroustalakis, the water interruption is due to a break in the network and to work that is currently underway to repair the damage. He asks for the understanding and patience of the fellow villagers, until the problem and the leakage of large amounts of water on the road are remedied. It even calls for rational management and economy in water consumption, in order to avoid further problems.

The President’s announcement follows:

“We inform the residents of our community that due to a break in the water supply network, problems have been observed in the community’s water supply for the last few hours. The competent staff of the Municipality makes every possible effort in order not to disturb the smooth water supply of the settlement. Please kindly manage the water as best as possible to avoid further problems until the break is repaired!!!!
