Tatiana Blatnik was born in Caracas, Venezuela on August 28, 1980 and is the daughter of Slovenian businessman Ladislav Blatnik and German aristocrat Marie Bierlein. On her mother’s side, she is the granddaughter of Countess Elinka von Einsiedel, a descendant of William II, Elector of Hesse.
Tatiana’s older brother Boris Blatnik lives permanently with his wife and two daughters in Switzerland, where she grew up anyway, even though she was born in Venezuela.
In 1986, when Tatiana was six years old, her father died and, soon after, her mother married businessman Attilio Brileburg.
From the age of three, she moved with her family to Switzerland. For about twelve years she remained a recluse at the Collège Aiglon in the village of Villard sur Hollon, Switzerland.
At the age of eighteen, she moved to the United States to attend Georgetown University in Washington. In 2003 he graduated from it with a degree in sociology and returned to Switzerland to study public relations. From 2006 to July 2010, she worked alongside fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, holding the role of events planner and public relations.
Tatiana met Nikolaos in 2003 in Gstaad, Switzerland. The two developed a relationship, with Tatiana officially by Nikolaos’ side for the next few years. In 2004, she accompanied him to the da Luz stadium in Lisbon and celebrated with him the conquest of the European football championship by Greece.
