An increase of one to 2 euros per kilo has been noted for chocolate products this year, affecting the prices of chocolate eggs since, as the confectioner, Michalis Tsatsoulis told ERT, they are sold at around 20 euros this year.

Mr. Tsatsoulis explained about the price increases: “We have tried to absorb as much as possible the price increases in chocolate, it is very difficult, due to the fact that cocoa, cocoa mass, etc. have increased by 45% to 50% compared to last year.

Nevertheless, we have made an increase of 1 to 2 euros per kilo in chocolate products. This egg, for example, is 600 grams of chocolate and we sell it packaged with decorations etc. for 20 euros. Chocolate candies at 10 euros. Bunnies and bunnies that were 12 euros last year are 15 euros this year.

The chocolate buns cost 16.50 euros each, while the plain buns at 8.90 euros each, are 750 grams, with a tear of mastic and Greek butter. We try to keep the quality but also the price as much as possible at normal levels.”
