Expensive Easter with gasoline over 2 euros

Easter is expected to be “hot” for citizens, who are asked to reach deep into their pockets in order to purchase the essentials for the Easter table, while those who have planned an escape will need to spend considerably more due to increased gasoline prices and fuel in general.

For some time now, gasoline has been following a slow but steady upward path towards 2 euros/liter, which it seems it will surpass before Easter arrives.

Already the average price of unleaded gasoline nationwide located at 1.963 euros/liter, according to the data of the Liquid Fuel Price Observatory of the Ministry of Development (prices 21/4/2024). At the same time, the diesel engine has reached 1.713 euros/liter.

However, the areas across the country where the price of petrol has already exceeded 2 euros/litre are increasing day by day and have now reached 19.

In fact, in the Cyclades, gasoline has climbed to 2,206 euros/liter and it is the region with the most expensive prices.
