The confectioner Michalis Tsatsoulis spoke to ERT on the price levels of chocolate eggs, candies and buns. Increases are expected in all preparations.
“We have tried to absorb as much as possible the price increases in chocolate, it is very difficult, due to the fact that cocoa, cocoa mass, etc. have increased to 45% to 50% compared to last year.
Nevertheless, we have made an increase of 1 to 2 euros per kilo in chocolate products. An egg with 600 grams of chocolate and we sell it packaged with decoration for 20 euros.
