Kyriakos Mitsotakis is trying to communicate the dilemma of the June 9 election, which goes beyond the selection of new MEPs for Strasbourg and is now emerging in a national ballot box, with a new barrage of tours and visits inside and outside Attica.

In this context, the Prime Minister will visit the Municipality of Rentis and the Central Vegetable Market today at 11:00.

During his tour he will have meetings at the city’s Town Hall and will have the opportunity to discuss with the citizens about the problems that concern them in a coffee shop in the area.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis addresses the citizens on the issue of accuracy, acknowledging himself that with inflation being the major problem of Greek households and “gnawing away” at incomes, this positive course of the economy is not “reaching” society.

However, the government staff “responds” with two arguments: on the one hand, without these performances it would not be possible to give increases in salaries and pensions, nor to advance regulations, such as the maternity allowance for self-employed women, on the other hand, if growth rates decrease , the country will not be able to “run” to cover the distance that separates it from the rest of Europe, in matters such as salaries.

The moves to deal with accuracy are expected to continue in the “field”, with the government staff continuing to place particular emphasis on both controls and fines imposed on large chains – such as the imposition by DIMEA of a total of 1,480,000 euros in 11 businesses for fictitious discounts and offers – as well as in measures such as the Easter basket and the godfather’s basket, which will apply again this year.
