Thriller with the death of the infant in Kos: The element that alarmed the authorities and the shocking testimonies (vid)

The case of the infant’s death in Kos is shocking. The parents of the child have been arrested and tomorrow (Monday 21/4) they are going to cross the threshold of the prosecutor, while a medical examiner will also examine the 2-year-old baby’s brother

The one-year-old girl was taken unconscious on Saturday afternoon to the Kos hospital. Earlier, the mother had found that her daughter had lost consciousness and tried to resuscitate her, to no avail. She shouted and the tenants of the apartment building rushed to help her.

EKAV rescuers rushed to the scene, and found that the infant was not breathing. They attempted to resuscitate and transferred the infant to the General Hospital of Kos.

It all happened in less than an hour. At 19:45 the 20-year-old mother found her baby unconscious. Half an hour later he called EKAV and while in the meantime he was trying with the help of neighbors to bring it back. The ambulance arrived at 20:25 and 7 minutes later, the infant was taken to the hospital. At 21:00 pm, unfortunately, he was pronounced dead.

“When the emergency doctor came, she was shouting for someone to bring a defibrillator. The mom is seven months pregnant, what she was saying is that she had fed the baby potato chips and put her to bed and she didn’t know exactly what happened,” reports an eyewitness.

Doctors at the hospital found undigested food in his respiratory system, as well as abrasions and generalized ecchymosis in various parts of his body. They asked for further examination to determine if she had been sexually abused.

The coroner who examined it in Rhodes, however, found no signs of sexual abuse, and ruled that death was caused by suffocation due to undigested food. He also ruled that the abrasions probably come from previous blows.

The parents, who were arrested, claimed that the infant’s injuries were the result of either an accident or a beating by her 2-year-old brother.

The testimonies of the neighbors: “The husband was abusing her”

Neighbors of the couple, speaking to MEGA, report that they had seen the 20-year-old mother beaten several times, while there are many testimonies of fights between the couple.

“Her husband, the husband, was abusing her. Sometimes we had seen her in the neighborhood with some bruises herself, marks which she did not justify”, said an eyewitness.

“I had fights, I had seen the girl beaten many times. Now, whether he hit her or didn’t hit her, I don’t know. I didn’t see them together all the time. I saw more of the girl,” said a neighbor of the couple.

The 21-year-old father and mother of the unfortunate infant are charged with exposure of a minor resulting in death.

Was he looking for child pornography material?

The element that alarmed the authorities is that the father of the infant has been accused and arrested in the past for pornography. For this reason, the authorities searched the father’s cell phone and computer.

The investigation so far has shown that child pornography searches were found on his mobile phone.
