“The mother was constantly beaten”

The threshold of the prosecutor will pass today Monday (22/4), the parents for the death of an infant in Kos.

The 21-year-old father and 20-year-old mother are charged with exposing a minor to deadly risk.

The baby’s body was examined by a medical examiner who, according to ethnos.gr, concluded that the girl’s death was due to suffocation after ingestion of food.

As the examination showed, the rest of the findings are consistent with this cause of death, the abrasions on the baby’s body are older and there are no signs of sexual abuse.

The testimonies of the neighbors: “We saw her with bruises”

Neighbors of the couple, speaking to MEGA, report that they had seen the 20-year-old mother beaten several times, while there are many testimonies of fights between the couple.

“Her husband, the husband, was abusing her. We had seen her in the neighborhood a few times to bear some bruises herselfsigns which he did not justify”, said an eyewitness.

“I had a fuss, I had seen the girl beaten many times. Now, whether he hit her or didn’t hit her, I don’t know. I didn’t see them together all the time. I saw more of the girl,” said a neighbor of the couple.

The 21-year-old father and mother of the unfortunate infant are accused of exposure of a minor which resulted in the death.

The element that alarmed the Authorities is that the father of the infant has been charged and arrested in the past for pornography. For this reason the Authorities did “leaf and feather” the father’s cell phone and computer.

Doctors determined, according to MEGA, that something was wrong as there was food in his respiratory system resulting in no flow of oxygen.

The parents, aged 20 and 21, were brought in and have been detained since Saturday night at the Police Station.
