“Product prices on Black Friday will be so low that they will impress consumers”, according to Stavros Kafounis, president of the Athens Chamber of Commerce, who speaking to Athens 9.84 and Eleonora Orfanidou underlined that the “businesses fight a hard battle every day in conditions of very tough competition to succeed in meeting the needs of the consumer”.
As Mr. Kafounis pointed out, “this year consumers will be impressed by the offers which will be extremely competitive for all consumers to meet their needs”.
He added that “businesses have started their preparations since the summer with the supply of goods that they will make available at particularly affordable prices”.
According to the president of the Athens Chamber of Commerce, seven out of ten consumers are ready to make their purchases on Black Friday, while he reminded that on the Sunday after Black Friday the stores will be open.
Our goal, Mr. Kafounis said, is a double-digit increase in turnover compared to last year.
“The Athens Chamber of Commerce expects a double-digit rate of increase in relation to 2022 which will be able to cover part – not all – of the price increases that have affected the operating costs of businesses”.
