The father of the 22-year-old German-Israeli spoke about the kidnapping and murder of Sani Luke by Hamas.
The girl was seen in footage, shortly after the October 7 attack on a music festival, being in the back of a van of the terrorists, who drove her half-naked with severe marks of abuse on her body. As the president of Israel announced, Sani was found decapitated, speaking of the horrific torture she suffered.
Speaking to ERT, Sani’s father said: “We knew she was there. We called her when we found out what was happening and she told us she was fine. They got into a car and drove to Tel Aviv. On the way they were stopped by terrorists and they shot her . All these images with her murder became known all over the world.”
“My daughter went to the festival to have a good time and they killed her,” he said and noted that he learned about Sunny through social media. “We were on social media at first to find out if our daughter is alive,” he said.
“We saw that she’s on a truck, then we found out that they took her to the hospital and they’re taking care of her. We got information from the hospital and at first they told us that she’s there. We saw on one video that she’s alive but then on another video we saw her being shot in the head. Finally the medical examiners informed us that he had been hit in the head and killed at the festival,” he added.
He revealed that Sani was in Greece three days before her murder while noting that nobody wants war and the whole planet wants to stop it.
