In the afternoon hours yesterday, the Mithymna Port Authority was informed by the Police Directorate of Lesvos, about the existence of three trapped people (01 woman and 02 minors) in an inaccessible rocky area of ​​Lagadas Mandamados.

Two LS-EL.AKT patrol boats rushed to the spot, as well as the E/R-A/K “STELLA” S.M. 730, with an officer of the relevant Port Authority on board, who found the above persons in good health. Afterwards, they were released from the E/R-A/K “STELLA” and transferred to the patrol boat, which took them to the port of Mithymna. Afterwards, they were taken to the K.Y.T. quarantine area. “KARA TEPE”.

In the morning hours today, officers of the 4th Port Department of Perama of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus arrested two citizens for violation of article 4 of the A.N. 376/36 “On security measures for fortified positions”.

In particular, the above were found to have illegally entered the boundaries of the Skaramanga naval fortress with an amateur boat.

A preliminary investigation is carried out by the relevant Port Authority.

The Tzelepi Port Authority was informed, in the morning hours today, by a member of the crew of the E/G-O/G ship, which was carrying out a scheduled route from the port of Chios to the port of Piraeus, about the need to transport a domestic passenger, who lost her senses within her cabin.

The above was initially provided with first aid by the ship’s crew, with negative results. Afterwards, she was transferred to the General Hospital of Elefsina “Thriassio”, where her death was confirmed.

From the 1st Tzelepi Port Department of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus, which conducts the preliminary investigation, an autopsy was ordered to be carried out at the Forensic Service of Piraeus.

A traffic accident occurred, in the morning hours today, on the coastal road of K. Lombardou in Zakynthos, when a two-wheeled vehicle with a 58-year-old driver fell on the road, as a result of which the 58-year-old was injured.

The injured person was transferred to the General Hospital of Zakynthos, in order to provide him with first aid.

A preliminary investigation is carried out by the Port Authority of Zakynthos.
