Yesterday, the Police proceeded with the arrest of one more person, to facilitate the investigations regarding the murder of Athanasios Kalogeropoulos, committed on October 30, 2023, in Limassol.
This is a 22-year-old E/k, a resident of Larnaca, against whom testimony emerged during the police examinations and he was arrested pursuant to a court warrant. It is recalled that for the case, two other persons, aged 41 and 44, were arrested and are in custody.
According to information, the 22-year-old does not appear to have been the passenger on the motorcycle that the authorities are looking for, but his arrest arose in the context of possible cooperation in the conspiracy and commission of the crime.
The young man is expected to be brought to the Limassol district court today for the issuance of a detention order.
The murder of Athanasios Kalogeropoulos was committed around 8 am. of October 30, in Limassol. The victim was shot a number of times while in a coffee shop parking lot. TAE Limassol continues the exams.
