The weather is getting wild from today, as the high temperatures for the season will subside with intense phenomena making their appearance and affecting most of the country.
The National Meteorological Service has issued an emergency bulletin of deterioration warning of dangerous weather phenomena while storms will hit most regions of Greece as well as Attica.
The onslaught of bad weather will begin this Friday and continue through the weekend.

According to the forecast of Sakis Arnautoglou on ERT, from the dawn of Friday we will have rain in the west and clouds in the central and south-western parts of the country until noon.
We will have rains and storms in the Ionian Islands, Western Peloponnese and from noon onwards the bulk of the phenomena will affect the Peloponnese, eastern Sterea, Attica, Evia and the Sporades.
The temperature at noon is expected at 21 degrees in the center, from 14 to 18 in the north and 25 in the south. In the west the mercury will reach 19 degrees and in the eastern islands 19 to 22 °C.
In Attica, as Sakis Arnautoglou said, we will have clouds from the morning and rains and storms after noon. In some places the phenomena will have an intense character. The temperature will range from 14 to 21 degrees Celsius.
At Thessaloniki less cloud in the morning, but will thicken towards midday. Local showers in the afternoon and cloudy in the evening. The temperature from 10 to 18 degrees Celsius.
The weather for the rest of the days
The Saturday 11/11the weather will be unsettled, with rain in the west, in the north, but also in the eastern islands.
Her Sunday 12/11 we will have a new passage with clouds with rain in the SE of the country. From noon onwards we will have some phenomena in the west and in the evening a new deterioration with rains in northern Greece and the west.
Her Monday 11/13 the weather will be unstable, with significant rains in Crete as well.

It is reminded that an emergency bulletin of weather deterioration is in effect from the National Meteorological Service (EMY).
According to the EMY emergency bulletin, heavy rains and storms are predicted:
On Friday (10-11-23)
a. From noon in the Ionian, Epirus, Western Mainland and Western Peloponnese.
b. From the afternoon hours, the rest of Sterea and Peloponnese, the islands of the Eastern Aegean and possibly the southern parts of Thessaly will be affected.
On Saturday (11-11-23)
a. From the morning hours in the northern Ionian, Epirus, western Macedonia, western Sterea, the southern parts of the Eastern Peloponnese and Kythira.
b. From noon in central Macedonia, eastern Macedonia and possibly Thrace.
c. Towards the evening the phenomena will weaken in most areas and will be limited to the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese.
Southerly winds of intensity 7 to 8 Beaufort will blow in the Aegean from the morning hours of Saturday (11-11-23) until the late afternoon.
EMY: The weather forecast for today Friday (10/11)
According to EMY, for today Friday November 10, the weather will worsen from midday, initially in the Ionian Islands and the western Peloponnese and gradually in the rest of the west with heavy rains and storms, which will be accompanied by hail and a high frequency of lightning.
The phenomena will gradually extend towards the central and northern continents as well as the eastern Aegean.
Winds will blow to the west from south directions 5 to 6 locally in the northern Ionian to 7 Beaufort. In the east initially from northerly directions 3 to 4 Beaufort, gradually from the west southerly winds 4 to 6 Beaufort will prevail.
Visibility will be locally limited in the morning and evening hours.
Meteorological conditions favor the transport of African dust to the west and south.
The temperature will drop slightly mainly in the north.

MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: In western and central Macedonia, increased clouds with local rains and isolated storms from midday. In eastern Macedonia and Thrace initially a few clouds that will increase from midday and there will be local rains and from the afternoon mainly in the sea-coastal isolated storms.
Winds: East northeast 3 to 4 and from noon will turn to south directions 4 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 07 to 20 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia it will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Initially in the Ionian Islands and the western Peloponnese and gradually in the rest of the areas cloudy with rain and sporadic storms. The phenomena, which will be strong in places, will show a temporary weakening in the evening.
Winds: From south directions 5 to 6 and locally in the Ionian 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 11 to 22 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 3 to 4 degrees lower.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Clouds that will gradually increase and from midday there will be rain and sporadic storms. The phenomena that in eastern Sterea and the eastern Peloponnese will be strong in places, will weaken late in the evening.
Winds: From east directions 3 to 4 and from noon south southeast 5 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 12 to 23 degrees Celsius. In the north 2 to 3 degrees lower.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Sparse clouds that will thicken from the afternoon and local rains and possible isolated storms will occur.
Winds: From north directions 3 to 4 Beaufort and from noon to south directions 5 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 17 to 25 degrees Celsius.
EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE
Weather: In the islands of the eastern Aegean, sparse clouds that will thicken from the afternoon and rains and sporadic storms will occur, locally strong. In the Dodecanese, sparse clouds with denser ones at intervals.
Winds: From northerly directions 3 to 4 Beaufort and from noon south southeast 4 to 5 and in the north up to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 17 to 25 degrees Celsius. In the north 3 to 4 degrees lower.
THESSALY
Weather: A few clouds that will increase from noon and rain and sporadic storms will occur. The phenomena, which in the southernmost parts may be strong in places, will stop late in the evening.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and from noon east southeast 4 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 18 degrees Celsius.
ATTICA
Weather: Sparse clouds that will increase from midday and rain and sporadic storms will occur, possibly locally strong in the west. Late night improvement.
Winds: Northerly 3 to 4 and from noon southerly directions 5 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 22 degrees Celsius.
THESSALONIKI
Weather: Clouds temporarily increased with local rain and in the afternoon – afternoon chance of isolated storms.
Winds: East southeast 3 to 4 Beaufort and from noon to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 12 to 20 degrees Celsius.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW SATURDAY 11-11-2023
In most areas of the country, clouds temporarily increased with local rains and sporadic storms, which will be locally strong from the morning hours in the northern Ionian, Epirus, western Macedonia, western Sterea, the southern parts of the Eastern Peloponnese and Kythera, from the midday hours in central Macedonia, eastern Macedonia and possibly Thrace, while towards the evening hours the phenomena will weaken in most areas and will be limited to the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese.
The winds will blow in the west west southwest and in the east south southwest 5 to 7 and in the northeast Aegean temporary local 8 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly in the southeast and will reach 26 to 27 degrees in Crete and the Dodecanese, while in the rest of the country it will not exceed 23 to 25 degrees Celsius.
FORECAST FOR SUNDAY 12-11-2023
In the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese, passing clouds with local rain and possibly isolated storms and gradual weakening. In the rest of the areas, sparse clouds temporarily thicker with local rains mainly from the midday hours in the northern Ionian and Epirus. Gradually the phenomena will spread to the west, the center and the north and will intensify. Scattered thunderstorms will develop from the afternoon in the west, which are likely to be temporarily strong.
The winds will blow west southwest 4 to 5 and from the afternoon in the Ionian locally 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly in the west and north.
FORECAST FOR MONDAY 13-11-2023
Unsettled weather at times cloudy in most parts of the country with local rains and sporadic thunderstorms. The effects from the afternoon will be limited to the eastern island country and in the evening hours they will weaken.
Winds will blow west southwest 4 to 6 Beaufort. Gradually from the west and north they will turn to north northwesterly and by the evening hours they will weaken.
The temperature will not change appreciably.
FORECAST FOR TUESDAY 14-11-2023
Generally clear weather with a few clouds in places and increased at times.
The winds will initially blow from the north and gradually from the west directions 3 to 5 and from the afternoon to the south local 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly towards its maximum values.
