The death of the elderly woman who lived with the unfortunate Fai, their mother, sister and landlady, in Kypseli remains under the microscope.

“There wasn’t a day when I didn’t hear crying. That’s why I had to call the police,” said Faye’s neighbor.

The 69-year-old breathed her last 6 months earlier than Faye, with her death initially attributed to pathological causes and with a series of evidence afterwards, showing that she also suffered in the house where she lived.

“I called the police twice. One was opened by Faie’s mother, and another, which they didn’t open the door for us”, added the neighbor.

As Vassilis Lambropoulos revealed on Live News, the twist in the circumstances of Faye’s death put the elderly woman’s counterpart under the microscope.

A family friend of the deceased Faye recalls on Live News his memories from the day the elderly woman was found dead.

Then few in the neighborhood could imagine the turn things would take.

The police begin to evaluate a series of testimonies and images that showed the elderly woman begging in a miserable condition. As responsible for her tragic daily life, a series of neighbors photographed her landlady.

The police investigation revealed that he had abused her and forced her to beg. In addition, he pushed her into passing vehicles in order to collect compensation for any injuries she sustained.

The statements given at the time by Faye’s mother and the landlady made the police think harder, since it was found that they had not reported the correct location of death.

In particular, she stated that she suffered from various pathological diseases and her death occurred because of them, in an apartment on Aristomenouis Street in Athens. However, the police investigation confirmed that her death occurred in the apartment on Drosopoulou Street in Athens.

“I reached the grandmother and told her to give her money or food. I sat outside the house and heard him cursing and hitting the grandmother.”

The police begin to look through the landlady’s file and the first findings reinforce their fears.

She had been accused of fraud. She allegedly pretended to be a paralegal or even a lawyer to approach victims. He had been accused of extorting large sums of money to conduct sham marriages with Pakistanis for a fee.

The police find out that the landlady hosted the elderly woman in the same house as the unfortunate Fai on Drosopoulou Street. The grandmother’s daughter was also with them for a while.

It was established that she died in the apartment on Drosopoulos Street, that the landlady had abusive behavior and was forcing her to beg. He allegedly pushed her into passing vehicles in order to collect compensation for her injuries and that her death was certified at home by a private doctor.

The police investigation continues and the officers who are moving the threads, consider it certain that very soon there will be definitive answers about the death of the 69-year-old woman.
