Undoubtedly, the cars that symbolize and remind of great moments, such as the Athens Olympic Games, go to the… hammer!
The car that moved the head of the organization of the 2004 Olympic Games was put up for auction. It is the luxurious (at the time) Centennial, Hyundai’s flagship which was used exclusively by the President of the Organizing Committee Mrs. Gianna Angelopoulou.
We remind you that the car has a 4.5-liter V8 engine, which delivers 260 horsepower to the front wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. The car in particular… an Olympic Hyundai has traveled 93,650 kilometers.
The Centennial was therefore put up for auction, with an initial starting price of 1,000 euros. A total of 33 offers were made, to close at the final price of 11,500 euros.
This particular car was an offer by Hyundai through P&P Davaris as part of the Korean company’s sponsorship of the Athens Olympic Games in 2004.
