We had a serious traffic accident on the morning of Thursday, November 9, 2023, outside Chalkida.
A man was injured on the Nea Lampsakou straight after the traffic lights. It is the road that leads to Nea Lampsako and unfortunately many times there have been many traffic accidents.
So this morning we had another traffic accident in the area. The driver of the vehicle was headed for Chalkida.
Under circumstances that are being investigated by the Chalkida traffic police, the driver lost control and crashed into a pillar.
The collision was severe and the front of the car was split in half.
Passers-by saw the accident on the main road and called the fire brigade.
A fire engine was immediately on the scene as well as the traffic police to regulate the traffic.
In the photo above, we see the firefighters and rescuers at the time of extricating the unfortunate man.
They managed to get the unfortunate man out of the driver’s seat and at the same time he was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Chalkida.
So far there is no update on their health status.
