At the expense of the 66-year-old housewife, her 64-year-old mother and her 23-year-old sister Fai Bakagiorgou, the competent prosecutor brought a criminal prosecution for: manslaughter by act and omission, human trafficking by profession, felony abortion, dangerous bodily harm of a vulnerable person, serial simple bodily harm, aiding and abetting human trafficking.
It is noted that the 15th interrogatorMr. Panagiota Pantou, who handles the case in question requested the issuance of arrest warrants as he judged that the three defendants are suspected of committing new acts because on the one hand they took measures to prevent their act from being revealed and on the other hand they acted with “extreme violence” and consistently in acts attributed to them.
The history of the case
The young lady was found dead and wrapped in a blanket on 8-10-2021, on Tychis Street in Patisia, after she had been missing for some time.
On Wednesday (8/11) the authorities arrested the three women and today they were brought before the prosecutor.
The judicial officer issued arrest warrants against them, judging that the three defendants are dangerous for committing new crimes, while the multi-page indictment drawn up against them states, according to information, that the three women took measures to prevent their act from being revealed, as they wrapped Faye’s body and threw it in the trash.
A preliminary examination was conducted for the case following a lawsuit by Faye’s father.
According to information, the material that has been collected and included in the case file concerns, among other things, the preliminary expert report of the medical examiner Sokratis Tsantiris, who initiated the case, as well as many witness statements about the brutality at the expense of the victim. At the same time, the circumstances of the death of the elderly woman who, according to testimonies, was cared for by the 66-year-old landlady are being investigated.
