The preliminary investigation, which was opened after a lawsuit by the father, led in early September to the initiation of criminal prosecution on a case-by-case basis against the 66-year-old housewife, the 64-year-old mother and the 23-year-old sister of the unfortunate girl for manslaughter by act and omission, human trafficking by occupation (homemaker), felony termination of pregnancy (homemaker), dangerous bodily harm to a vulnerable person, simple battery aggravated battery, accessory to human trafficking (sister).

According to information, in the case file now handled by the 15th investigator Panagiota Pantou, there are dozens of witness statementsbut also one preliminary expert opinion of the medical examiner Sokratis Tsantiriswhich largely contributed to the reversal of the data in the case.

After studying the case file, the investigator requested the issuance of arrest warrants as he ruled that the three defendants are suspected of committing new acts, since they took measures to prevent their act from being revealed, by wrapping the body and throwing it in the garbage. Information indicates that the warrant refers to “extreme brutality of the act and continuity of illegal acts” regarding the offense of human trafficking.
