Evan Ellingson struggled with addiction
His death Evan Ellingson, actor who became famous in American series, shocked everyone. Evan Ellingson was only 35 years old and as his father revealed to TMZ, he had been struggling with drug addiction for the last few years, pointing out that his death came as a shock to the family.
Best known for his roles on “My Sister’s Keeper” and “CSI: Miami,” Evan Ellingson was found dead at his home in San Bernardino on Sunday.
His cause of death has not yet been confirmed, with initial reports ruling out homicide.
Evan Ellingson first appeared on our screens with a cameo on General Hospital in 2001.
He continued his career with appearances on Bones and Complete Savages and had a brief ten-episode stint on Titus.
It was in 2007 that he appeared with Kiefer Sutherland in 24, playing the nephew of the protagonist.
Two years later he played Cameron Diaz’s teenage son in the drama My Sister’s Keeper. He had the role of Kyle Harmon on CSI: Miami between 2007 and 2010.
