Virat Kohli equaled Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most ODI centuries after he hit his 49th hundred against South Africa recently.

Virat’s form has sent a warning to other teams. Meanwhile, former Australia skipper Ricky Ponting has hailed Virat’s fitness and stated that he will score 600-700 runs in the 2027 World Cup if he continues to play.

During the India-South Africa match, Ponting was on-air, where he remarked that Virat is getting better with each World Cup and if that is the case, he will score 600-700 runs. He also added that any cricket fan other than Indian would not want him to play next World Cup.

“Any other cricket fan other than Indian fan will not want him to play next World Cup. He just keeps getting better and if that remains the case, then he will score 600-700 runs in the 2027 World Cup.” Here is the video.
