The EKO Gala & Concert organized by EKO Cyprus, a member of HELLENiQ ENERGY, as a Gold Sponsor of the 2023 Radio Marathon, was crowned with complete success.
The purpose of the charity event and concert was to strengthen the work of the Radiomarathon, the timeless institution of solidarity that supports those children whose health is severely tested and their families. All the revenues collected were allocated to the Foundation, for the needs of its multifaceted work.
The “attendance” at the EKO Gala & Concert, which took place on Wednesday, November 1 at the Pavilion Hall, drew a crowd of over 800 people. The event was graced by the presence of First Lady Philippa Karsera Christodoulidis, partners and clients of EKO , the organizers of the Radio Marathon CNP Cyprialife, CNP Insurance and Radio Foundation of Cyprus, representatives of the Mass Media, but also the President of the Hellenic Basketball Federation Vangelis Liolios and its members as well as veteran basketball players Dimitris Diamantidis and Costas Tsartsaris. HELLENiQ ENERGY and EKO Cyprus were represented by the Managing Director of EKO Cyprus Giorgos Grigoras, while the Managing Director of HELLENiQ ENERGY Andreas Siamisiis addressed a short greeting online.
The event ended with the appearance of the leading Greek star, Sakis Rouvas, who sent his own message of support for the Radio Marathon and the children whose health is being tested. Cypriot artists such as Christina Averkiou and the music group Papillion added their own tone to the event.
With this charity event, as well as other important initiatives that EKO Cyprus will implement within the next period of time as a Gold Sponsor of the Radio Marathon, it demonstrates in practice its support for institutions that strengthen social solidarity and contribute to a more inclusive society, giving hope to the children who are the future of the country.

The Managing Director of EKO Cyprus Giorgos Grigoras also gave his own account of the evening, who said: “We plan and implement a multifaceted corporate responsibility program, increasing every year the positive impact it has on the lives of our fellow human beings. In this context, we have joined forces with the Cyprus Radio Marathon and are implementing a number of actions with the aim of offering the best to the institution and to motivate the public to activate in the same direction.”
