Orders for the new Volkswagen Tiguan have opened

Having sold more than 7.6 million copiesthe Tiguan is one of her most successful current models Volkswagen. Since less than two months has passed in its 3rd generationwhich now available to order in Europe.

According to the German brand, the C-SUV has been completely redesigned and has improved in all areas. It has new hybrid drive systems with purely electric autonomy about 100 kmwhile it is redesigned both externally and internally, with new digital cockpit and 15-inch screen for the infotainment system.

For the first time, Volkswagen analyzed the engine range of the new Tiguanwhich will feature 8 different powertrains where will it be mild hybrids 48V (eTSI), plug-in hybrid (eHybrid), turbo gasoline (TSI) and turbo diesel (TDI). Two new ones 1.5 L MHEV versions will be immediately available to order, with performance 130 PS and 150 PSas the 2 liter turbo diesel engine 2.0 TDI with 150 PS.

And three are mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DSG)which transmits the traffic to front wheels. The remaining 5 powertrainsincluding the 2 PHEV versions but also the four-wheel drive, will be launched in 2024.

From a side equipmentthe new Tiguan will be available on the German market in four versions, them Tiguan, Life, Elegance and R-Line. All of them are already available to order with the three powertrains mentioned above.

At basic Tiguan version include, among others, Digital Cockpit, 12.9-inch screen for the infotainment systemmultiple airbags, automatic climate control, USB-C charging ports, black roof bars and many assistance systems such as Side Assist, Front Assist, Lane Departure Warning System, Rear View Camera with Rear View system and 17-inch alloy wheels.

In next edition Life one meets additionally three-zone Climatronic system (Air Care)comfortable front seats, Park Assist Plus parking assistance systemadaptive cruise control, electrically folding mirrors, 17-inch Venezia alloy wheelsApp Connect (with Apple and Android wireless integration) and ambient side lighting.

THE Elegance adds extra LED Plus headlights with horizontal LED bar on both ends of the body, ergoActive front seats with massage function and microfleece lining, electrically opening and closing tailgatesilver roof bars, tinted rear windows and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Finally, the top equipment level R-Line still features R-Line design bumpers, roof spoiler and side panelsR-Line interior with sports seats and 19-inch alloy wheelswhile it can also be added optional Black Style package which includes 19-inch black wheels, gloss black window strips and black mirror caps.
