Temporary traffic regulations are in effect from today, Sunday, November 5, 2023, in Kaisariani, throughout the 24 hours, due to the execution of works in the framework of the construction of line 4 of the Athens metro. The temporary traffic arrangements will last until January 12, 2024.
In particular, the following temporary traffic regulations apply in the following road sections, area of the Municipality of Kaisariani:
PHASE 1
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Ethnikis Antistases Road to a minimum width of approximately 3.25 m and in its section of approximately 40.00 m after its junction with L. Vass. Alexandrou by occupying the right side of the road surface in the direction movement of vehicles in the traffic flow towards Ymitou Street.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of V. Vass. Alexandrou, a minimum width of approximately 3.50 m and in its part approximately 50.00 m after its junction with V. Ethnikis Antistaseos, with occupation of the left side of the road surface by the direction of movement of vehicles.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Misuntos Street, a minimum width of approximately 7.00 m and in its section from its junction with Iroon Skopetiriou Street to its junction with Ethnikis Antistaseos Avenue, with occupation of the left side of the road surface by the direction of movement of vehicles.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Chrysostomou Smyrni Street to a minimum width of approximately 3.50 m and in its section from its junction with Damareos Street to its junction with Misuntos Street by occupying the left side of the road surface in the direction of traffic vehicles.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Damareos Street, a minimum width of approximately 3.50 m and in its section from its junction with Formionos Street to its junction with Ethnikis Antistases Road, with occupation of the right side of the road surface during direction of movement of vehicles.
-Complete blocking of the Assumption Street roadway with the exception of construction site vehicles and emergency vehicles.
-Compulsory course with a right turn for vehicles moving on Koimiseos tis Theotokou street at the Koimiseos Theotokou-Misountos junction.
– Determination of the maximum speed limit at 40 km/h for vehicles moving on National Resistance Road and in its section approximately 200.00 m before the start of the construction site occupation.
– Determination of the maximum speed limit at 30 km/h for vehicles moving in the area of the works in the section determined from the beginning of the occupation of the construction site until its end.
– Prohibition of overtaking for vehicles moving in the area of the works in the section determined from the start of the occupation of the construction site until its end.
– Prohibition of stopping and parking of vehicles on both sides of the roadway in the area of the works in the section determined from the beginning of the occupation of the construction site until its end.
PHASE 2
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Ethniki Antistaseos to a minimum width of approximately 3.50 m and in its section from its junction with Byzantiou Street and up to approximately 30.00 m after its junction with John Kennedy Street with occupancy of the right side of the road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles in the traffic flow towards Ymittos Street.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Ethnikis Antistases Road to a minimum width of approximately 5.00 m and in the section thereof approximately 40.00 m before its junction with Damareos Street by occupying the right side of the road surface in the direction of traffic in the traffic stream towards Misuntos Street.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of V. Vass. Alexandrou, a minimum width of approximately 3.75 m and in its section approximately 70.00 m after its junction with V. Ethniki Antistaseos, with occupation of the right side of the road surface by the direction of movement of vehicles.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of L. Vass. Alexandrou, a minimum width of approximately 7.00 m and in the part of it approximately 20.00 m. before its junction with L. Ymittos, with occupation of the left side of the road surface during direction of movement of vehicles.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Damareos Street, a minimum width of approximately 3.50 m and in its section from its junction with Formionos Street to its junction with Ethnikis Antistases Avenue, with occupation of the left side of the road surface during direction of movement of vehicles.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Misuntos Street, a minimum width of approximately 7.00 m and in its section from its junction with Koimisesos Theotokou Street to its junction with Ethnikis Antistaseos Avenue, with occupation of the right side of the road surface by the direction of movement of vehicles.
– Determination of the maximum speed limit at 40 km/h for vehicles moving on National Resistance Road and in its section approximately 200.00 m before the start of the construction site occupation.
– Determination of the maximum speed limit at 30 km/h for vehicles moving in the area of the works in the section determined from the beginning of the occupation of the construction site until its end.

-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Ethniki Antistaseos to a minimum width of approximately 3.50 m and in its section from its junction with Byzantiou Street and up to approximately 25.00 m after its junction with John Kennedy Street with occupancy of the left side of the road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles in the traffic stream towards Ymittos Street.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of L. Vass. Alexandrou, a minimum width of approximately 5.00 m and in the part of it approximately 70.00 m. before its junction with L. Ymittos, with occupation of the left side of the road surface during direction of movement of vehicles.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of L. Vass. Alexandrou, a minimum width of approximately 5.00 m and in the part of it approximately 70.00 m. before its junction with L. Ymittos, with occupation of the left side of the road surface during direction of movement of vehicles.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Ymittos Road, minimum width of approximately 6.00 m and in its section from its junction with Ethnikis Antistaseos Road to its junction with Vass Alexandrou Road, with occupation of the right side of the road surface in the direction of movement of vehicles in the traffic flow towards L. Vass. Alexandrou.
-Total blocking of the road surface of Iroon Polytechniou Street and Vas. Alexandrou Street with the exception of construction site vehicles and emergency vehicles.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of John Kennedy Street to a minimum width of approximately 3.00 m and in its section approximately 10.00 m after its junction with Iroon Polytechneiou Street, with occupation of the left side of the road surface in the direction of traffic vehicles.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Damareos Street, a minimum width of approximately 6.00 m and in its section from its junction with Formionos Street to its junction with Iroon Skopeftiriou Street, with occupation of the right side of the road surface in the direction vehicle movement.
-Gradual reduction of the width of the road surface of Iroon Skopeftiriou Street, minimum width of approximately 3.00 m and in the part thereof approximately 45.00 m before its junction with Damareos Street, with occupation of the left side of the road surface in the direction of traffic vehicles.
– Determination of the maximum speed limit at 40 km/h for vehicles moving on National Resistance Road and in its section approximately 200.00 m before the start of the construction site occupation.
– Determination of the maximum speed limit at 30 km/h for vehicles moving in the area of the works in the section determined from the beginning of the occupation of the construction site until its end.
– Prohibition of overtaking for vehicles moving in the area of the works in the section determined from the start of the occupation of the construction site until its end.
– Prohibition of stopping and parking of vehicles on both sides of the roadway in the area of the works in the section determined from the beginning of the occupation of the construction site until its end.
