Free breast palpation examination at City Hospital, Kalamata, on November 11

The General Clinic City Hospital in the city of Kalamata, member of Hellenic Healthcare Group, in cooperation with the volunteers of the Association of People with Cancer Experience “Xanarchi-ZO”, offers free palpation examination for all women, on November 11, from 09:00 to 13:00. The goal is to actively contribute to raising awareness for the early prevention and treatment of breast cancer.

The first action includes the free breast palpation examination which will be held by appointment at the City Hospital General Clinic (Pindarou 5, Kalamata) from 09:00 to 13:00.

In the afternoon of the same day, it will take place open information event at Grand Hotel Kalamata, during which the public will have the opportunity to be informed about the prevention and developments regarding the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, from specialized medical staff, partners and guests of the City Hospital General Clinic and the HHG Group.

Although breast cancer is a serious disease that occurs in a large percentage of women worldwide, it can be effectively treated when detected early. In this context, City Hospital wants to actively contribute to health and prosperity of the community, highlighting its importance proper monitoringher prevention and his annual audit.
