Deep sadness for the family of the deputy mayor of Paralimni – “Mark’s death surprised and shocked us”

With his announcement, the deputy mayor of Paralimni, Mr. Dimitris Moulazimis, announced the death of 40-year-old Mark Kevin Coates, who leaves behind a wife and child.

It is with profound sadness and immense heartache that we announce the passing of our beloved, special friend and brother Mark Kevin Coates who passed away today at the age of 40.

Mark’s death surprised and shocked us. For 20 years Mark, who was known as GIANT, was a permanent resident of Cyprus, a Citizen of Paralimni and was highly respected.

Mark was a true friend and brother. A lavender man with capital letters.

He leaves behind his only son and only daughter Phoebe Coates and his beloved wife Amber Coates.
I wish both of them good strength and courage and I will be by their side for whatever they need.

Have a good eternal journey my dear brother. We will never forget you.
