How the US is using the war to shrink Europe

--

A sensational think-tank document RAND Corporationreports the Swedish newspaper Nya Dagbladet, which shows secret US plans to crash the European economy with a war in Ukraine and an induced energy crisis.

But let’s take things in order. The RAND Corporation is a think tank with a massive workforce of 1,850 employees, a budget of $350 million, and an official goal of “improving policy and decision-making through research and analysis.” It is primarily associated with the United States Department of Defense and is known to have been influential in the development of military and other strategies during the Cold War.

A document signed by RAND, under the title “Weakening Germany, Strengthening the USA”suggests that there is an “urgent need” for an influx of resources from abroad to sustain the overall American economy, but “especially the banking system.”

“Only European countries bound by EU and NATO commitments can provide them to us without significant military and political cost to us,” mentioned in the document.

According to RAND, the main obstacle to this ambition is Germany’s growing independence. Among other things, he points out that Brexit has given Germany more independence and made it harder for the United States to influence the decisions of European governments.

A key goal permeating this cynical strategy is to destroy cooperation between Germany and Russia, as well as France, which is seen as the greatest economic and political threat to the United States.

“If implemented, this scenario will eventually turn Europe into not only an economic, but also a political competitor of the United States”refers.

“Draw both sides into war with Ukraine”

In order to crush this political threat, a strategic plan is presented, mainly focused on destroying the German economy.

“The interruption of Russian gas deliveries could create a systemic crisis that would be devastating for the German economy and indirectly for the European Union as a whole”RAND reports, and believes the key is to drag European countries into war.

“The only possible way to ensure that Germany rejects Russian energy supplies is to provoke both sides into a military conflict in Ukraine. Our continued actions in this country will inevitably lead to a military response from Russia. Russia is clear that it is not going to leave the Donetsk People’s Republic to the Ukrainian army without a military response. This would make it possible to present Russia as the aggressor and then apply the entire package of sanctions, which has already been drawn up.”.

Green parties will force Germany to ‘fall into the trap’

Green parties in Europe are described as particularly easy to manipulate to do the bidding of US imperialism.

“The condition for Germany to fall into this trap is the dominant role of green parties and European ideologies. The German environmental movement is a highly dogmatic, if not fanatical, movement, which makes supporters ignore economic arguments all too easily.” he writes, citing Germany’s current foreign minister, Annalena Baerbock, and climate minister, Robert Habeck, as examples of this type of policy.

“Personal characteristics and lack of professionalism make it possible to assume that it is impossible for them to recognize their own mistakes in time. It is therefore easy to paint a media image of Putin’s war of aggression – and to make the Greens ardent and hard-line supporters of sanctions – a ‘war party’. This will make it possible to impose sanctions without any obstacles.”

Baerbock is well known for declaring that she will continue the suspension of Russian gas supplies even through the winter – regardless of what her constituents think about the issue and the consequences for the German population.

“We will stand by Ukraine, and that means the sanctions will remain in the winter,” she said at a conference in Prague recently.

“Ideally – a complete stoppage of supplies”

The authors of the document express the hope that the damage between Germany and Russia will be so great that it will make it impossible
the restoration of relations between the countries later.

“A reduction in Russian energy supplies – ideally, a complete cessation of such supplies – would lead to disastrous results for German industry. The need to divert significant amounts of Russian natural gas for winter heating will further exacerbate shortages. Lockouts in industrial plants would cause shortages of manufacturing components and spare parts, disruption of logistics chains and ultimately a domino effect.”

Ultimately, a total collapse of the economy in Europe is considered both possible and desirable.

“Not only will it deal a devastating blow to the German economy, but the entire economy of the entire EU economy will inevitably collapse.”

The paper also points out that the benefits of US-based companies having less competition in the global market, logistical advantages and capital outflow from Europe, would mean they could contribute about 7-9 trillion to the US economy dollars. In addition, it highlights the significant impact of many well-educated and young Europeans being forced to immigrate to the US.

RAND denies it originated the report

The RAND Corporation issued a press release on Wednesday denying that the report came from them. No comment is made as to which parts of the report are false or if any parts are accurate. It suffices to simply state that the content is “strange” and the document is “fake”.
