New boat SALPA AVANTGARDE 35, the super luxurious double cabin 11 meters at a surprising price

One of the most interesting presentations in Yachting Festival of Cannes this year for the category toy was the boat AVANTGARDE 35, the new one walkaround boat of the Italian shipyard SALPA.

The vessel was presented in a world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival which took place from 6 to 11 September 2022 and at Boat Show of Genoa which takes place 22 to 27 September 2022. The shipyard people SALPA they presented the new boat Salpa Avant-garde 35 to the public, which every year increases for these vessels.

The Avant-garde 35 is a boat with total length 11.20 meters (length CE 9.98 meters) and 3.54 meters wide and is available in two 2 versions. One outboard with twin engines from 2 x 250 hp up to 2 x 350 hp and one Diesel / electric hybrid with single-axle propulsion with a power of 1 x 350 hp diesel and 25 kw (33.5 hp) in electric power.

The shipyard SALPA has developed a specific solution in which it is possible to buy the boat in an inboard diesel version and then install the hybrid electric unit without further modifications, thanks to an innovative coupling system.

By design, the Avant-garde 35 walkaround features the new design styles of this type of boat such as bow “AxBow” (aligned upside down bow ) which gives it an aggressive and modern line, while in combination it has an interesting bow extension system made without electrical or hydraulic mechanisms, which allows absolutely safe anchoring, without any possibility of hitting – damaging the bow of the boat.

In the bow she also has a spacious anchorage, which is accessed according to the regulations, which allows the storage of safety equipment and even the eight balloons provided with the boat.

The vessel is characterized by elegant and modern lines, with large open spaces and generous side aisles. THE hull it is very characteristic with the main advantage of being excellent low resistance to promotion.

It is the result of her research Salpa who performed advanced simulations CFDs and tank trials with reduced scale models through towing and self-propulsion of the model, which allowed the minimization of its drag and loss of course, for propulsion both in the electric mode (0/8 knots) speed range and in the cruising range.

Its well-thought-out design also ensures excellent consumption at cruising speed. In outboard version, is 2.9 liters per mile at 23 knots, for consumption of only 66 liters per hour. In inboard hybrid versionthe low fuel consumption in electric sailing mode (6/7 knots) allows a long range in fully electric mode.

Electric operation allows both harbor maneuvers and short distance cruising (6/10 miles) with complete absence of noise. In operation dieselwith a speed of 18 knots, the consumption is under 30 liters per hour.

The battery can be recharged both from the dock column (pillar for shore power) as well as during the operation of the propulsion diesel engine from alternator.

A unique design solution that allows diesel / hybrid propulsion to be managed is the single control lever. This allows the automatic changeover to diesel propulsion, during electric propulsion, simply with an accelerated movement of the control lever.

The electric motor is a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a power of 25 kwa. The 96 trend volts guarantees the safety of the boat and allows it to be certified for leisure or work purposes.

External Spaces

Aft is a double seat with opposing benches with hinged backs and a movable electric table, convertible into a large sundeck aft.

In the cockpit area, is the wet bar in a large external cabinet, equipped with a drawer refrigerator, while optionally it is possible to install an additional drawer refrigerator under the rear sofa. There is also a gas hob, as well as a grill and an optional induction hob.

The driving position is equipped with 3 steering positions with folding seats, ergonomic and placed very firmly.

The driver’s console has a dual 12-inch screen, joystick for maneuvers and bow thrusterwhile there is plenty of space for other electronic instruments.

The standard hybrid/diesel inboard version also has bow and stern bow thruster.

The bow deck is accessed via side gangways that are integrated into the boat’s profile by design and protected by a perimeter handrail, which runs the length of the boat.

The boat is equipped with a comfortable and ergonomic sunbed that allows 3 – 4 people to enjoy the summer sun, even during navigation, while the boat is traveling.

In the bow also extends a large flat area allowing mooring operations in comfort and safety.

The entire deck of the boat is completely covered with synthetic wood TEAK Of excellent quality.

Interiors

In general, the interiors have been designed in detail, while special attention has been paid to the storage capacity.

Thus, the boat has a particularly spacious environment, divided by special curtains, with a double bed in the bow and two single beds in the back, which easily convert one into a double bed, leaving a large space, characteristic comfort and enough headroom.

Also, the double bed in the bow can be converted into a dining area served by a convenient table, with a spacious bathroom and a separate shower cabin.

Special design attention was also paid to the interior design with an unprecedented cabin height in the hallway area and bathroom. Also, high quality finishes and matching materials have been used in the interior with large and ample storage cupboards and built-in units, with a truly invisible opening.

Upon special order, it is also possible to install an internal kitchen equipped with an electric refrigerator and cooking hobs.

Its side windows allow passengers to rest at night while having great visibility and a comfortable view of the surrounding landscape.

Cabin ventilation is ensured by 6 opening portholes and an ergonomically positioned hatch just above the bow.

The driver’s seat and the stern area are widely protected by a T-TOP with a minimalist and modern style, equipped with an electric awning that extends to cover part of the stern.

The electric awning is easily removable thanks to its special design and can be easily integrated into the hard roof. Thanks to this awning and the micro-perforated shade sheets, the perimeter of the cockpit is protected from the sun’s rays without obstructing the 360 ​​degree perimeter view.

Thanks to the table with electric movement, it is possible to transform the modular outdoor dining area at the rear, from a pleasant place for lunch for up to 8 people, to a seating area with reversible (adjustable) seats with a position both in front and back.

In the outboard version, the entire stern area can be raised via electrically operated pistons, giving access to a huge storage area, where a power generator can be installed, on request.

At the end of the stern is the place for the life raft (liferaft), which position is located under the stern sofa for immediate extraction and use.

Standard equipment

They are included in the basic (standard) equipment Bow Thruster and Stern Thruster (for the version with an inboard diesel engine), flaps, GPS GARMIN with a 12-inch screen and echosounder, wiper, water heater and hot water circuit. The engine room has ventilation.

Its electrical equipment includes a 220 circuit Vcharger, cable, shore powergas stove, 90 liter deck fridge and sound system Fusion with speakers.

The boat has a dirty water tank and a cabin shower. In the stern she also has a folding bathing ladder, removable cushions for all areas and stainless handles and metal elements throughout.

The interior is light oak, the cabins also have individual lighting and a gas leak sensor.
