The PAOK coach has all the players at his disposal – except for the injured stoppers Michaelidis and Nesberg – ahead of the match at Kl. Vikelidis.
PAOK will complete its preparation for the local derby with Aris (24/09, 21.30, Novasports Prime and LIVE on SPORT24) on Saturday afternoon in Toumba. Razvan Lucescu has all of his players apart from Michaelidis and Nesberg at his disposal, but is showing a willingness to keep his cards close ahead of Sunday’s game.
It seems, however, that any of his tests have to do with the two ends of his defense, with Vieirinia, Lyratzis and Tsoushi mainly vying for a starting jersey. The readiness of the first two is the one that will play the most important role in the final selection of the Romanian technician.
In the attack, the PAOK coach is testing out Brandon Thomas and Nelson Oliveira, with the Spaniard nevertheless having a lead to start as a starter in the derby with the yellow and black.
“The countdown to PAOK’s first away match in this year’s championship is coming to an end and the team’s preparation continues.
And on Friday (02.09) the main subject of training was the tactical approach to the match against Aris at “Kleanthis Vikelidis”.
After the necessary warm-up and some rondo games, players and coaching staff worked on development, transitions and ball circulation, while in the last part a family double was played.
The only players, whose names are on the medical report, are Ivan Nasberg and Yiannis Michailidis. The two defenders followed an individual program on the field and in the gym.
On Saturday (03.09) PAOK will train at 18:00 at the Toumba stadium”. reports Dikefalo’s newsletter.
