Ajax made an offer of 12 million euros to Benfica for the purchase of Odysseus Vlachodimos, but the transfer of the Greek goalkeeper to “Aiantas” will hardly be completed.
Another big European team, Ajax, has Odysseus Vlachodimos in its sights and in recent days has been in discussions with Benfica for the acquisition of the international Greek goalkeeper.
“Aiantas” even submitted an official proposal to the Portuguese in the amount of 12-13 million euros to make him theirs, but it will be difficult to complete the transfer of the international goalkeeper to the Dutch.
First because Benfica want more money to give “Odi”, also Vlahodemos will have to be convinced to leave Portugal for Holland with the two sides already in contact and put it down.
From now on the two teams will hardly get ahead of the proceedings with the transfer period ending on Wednesday (31/8) in the Netherlands and Benfica has not yet entered the market, at least officially, to find his replacement.
From then on, Leicester’s interest in the Greek goalkeeper has always been there with the transfer window in England ending on Thursday (1/9) and it is common for English teams to make signings at the end of the transfer window.
