Levski Sofias filed a complaint against the prestige of the rematch with Hamrun Spartans and requests a replay of the match. The Bulgarians “diagnosed” a violation committed by the Maltese at the time of the cross in the equalizing goal (1-1).

Hamrun Spartans are one of the surprises of the Conference League qualifiers, as they managed to reach the playoffs of the competition, knocking out Levski Sofias in the third qualifying round and claim qualification for the groups of the competition.

However, the Bulgarians, who had eliminated PAOK in the second qualifying round, lodged an objection against the host of the match with UEFA. The reason is because the Maltese committed a cross offense after conceding a goal in the 90+1′.

While the Hamrun Spartans player continued to play in midfield, a team-mate had already entered Levski’s half, which is prohibited by the rules. A few moments later, Hamrun Spartans scored a goal and sent the match into overtime.
