Lefteris Petrounias won another gold medal. The Greek Olympian he was crowned European champion for the seventh time in his career and became the only specialist in the history of the European Gymnastics Championships, from 1955 to the present day, to achieve such an incredible record!

The Greek super champion performed his program last in the rings final among the eight finalists, collected 15,000 points (difficulty: 6,300, execution: 8,700) and triumphantly returned to the European top!
