Maccabi was defeated by Panathinaikos in Game 2 of the series at OAKA and now they go to Belgrade with the aim of winning two games and being the team that will go to the Final Four in Berlin.
The People’s team has its problems to solve, but the most important one is without a doubt Wade Baldwin, who did not play in Game 2 of the series and his absence was big. The American guard is struggling to make it to the third match in Belgrade.
Oded Katas is waiting to see how he will be in the next few days, however, he is doubtful for now. It is important to emphasize that the American guard already traveled to Croatia, in order to undergo treatment in a special center to overcome his concussion.
Baldwin is scheduled to meet with Maccabi’s squad on Monday in Belgrade, but it is doubtful whether he will be able to overcome his injury to be available to Oded Katas, at least for next week’s first leg.
It is worth noting that the 28-year-old ace was injured in the fourth period of the first game in the left hamstring. This year he is averaging 17.9 points, 4.9 assists, 2.6 rebounds, 1 steal and 19.6 rating in 28:14 of participation in the Euroleague.
